Fourth Task

According to Bartlett in this book "Teacher Development through Reflective Teaching" during the classes, I had to notice some possible solutions to get improve the class based on this book.  

 I took into account some elements of the cycle for this process to implement a solution in reflective teaching. 

*Mapping: I analyzed that these teenagers rarely participated when the teacher did exercises or something like that. I looked that most of them felt afraid because they did not have enough vocabulary and also because they felt afraid by the teacher. I think about a plan to change their minds but I need to take some note about the things that I observe during the classes and think in dynamic games so they can feel that can participate without feeling afraid.


*Informing:  I had to talk to my advisor and he told me that I would implement dynamic classes as they feel good and they do not feel that my classes would different and they will feel comfortable.

*Acting: I decided to change with games at the moment of doing exercises or knowing if they did the homework.

DIRECTIONS: Watch the video " Shaping the way we teach English -Reflective Teaching  ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKVTh6HG-T4 ) ," and give an account of the characteristics of the participating teachers´ reflective practices.  Some characteristics are....  * they want the student to learn better * they like to work with their peers in the subject, developing objectives and goals of the subject * they accept the autoanalysis of their classes and are willing to learn how to improve in the aspects that they lack. * are open-minded in the sense that they accept suggestions, do not conflict with their teaching situation * Responsibly assume the problems of the classroom as professional and personal growth

How we Think" by John Dewey According to Dewey's book, this chapter talks about reflective thinking. Teachers should teach students about reflective thinking because it allows them a more autonomous formation, with the capacity to understand reality through explanations, arguments, and interpretations of contexts (involves reasoning). This process can reach any individual if he assumes exploratory behaviors, seeks clarifications and justifications of the surrounding reality and appropriates the context and for that, the students should do it not only for the study but also for their lives.
