THIRD TASK

1. What is reflective teaching?

 It is a method which helps us as future teachers to reflect on the way we teach, the way our practices are in the classroom,  through reflection we can make our classes get improve or look at what we are failing.


2. How important is reflective teaching? 

Reflective Teaching is important because through this method to get improve your classes. It is important to take into account that each class we can learn about our weaknesses and strengths because when we are in the class, we can learn and live the teaching problems and be able to solve these problems during the class.  

3. What is the cycle of reflection like?

*Think: the teacher thinks about the possible problems he could solve in the classroom.
*Question: after taking the questions out of the problem that I thought will try to solve them in the best way for the learning of their students.
*Act: there are actions to solve your questions, in this part the teacher learns through experience if what he is going to do is good or not to solve their questions
*Reflect: here reflects on the results that had to look at the positive and negative of the process

4.What is reflection? How many types of reflection are there?

Reflection is a process which helps to reflect on one's work with depth, rigor, and creativity, in order to find solutions for improvement in their task as a teacher. The educator promotes new programs, new exercises and ways of teaching, exercising their creativity. There are two types of reflection. One is reflection-on-action and the another is reflection-in-action. 

*Reflection-on-action: refers to the retrospective contemplation of practice undertaken in order to uncover the knowledge used in practical situations, by analysing and interpreting the information

*Reflection-in-action: It refers to thinking about what one is doing whilst one is doing it
4. What can be done to put reflective teaching into practice? 

We can do reflective teaching in our practicum because we are trying to apply all the methods what we believe it will correct in our classes. Then, we are experiencing so as a result of your reflection, you may decide to do something in a different way, or you may just decide that what you are doing is the best way. And that is what professional development is all about.

How we Think" by John Dewey According to Dewey's book, this chapter talks about reflective thinking. Teachers should teach students about reflective thinking because it allows them a more autonomous formation, with the capacity to understand reality through explanations, arguments, and interpretations of contexts (involves reasoning). This process can reach any individual if he assumes exploratory behaviors, seeks clarifications and justifications of the surrounding reality and appropriates the context and for that, the students should do it not only for the study but also for their lives.
